Onsen is great to relax you after a day’s tour in the area, great value if you want Onsen and Mt Fuji. I woke up around 6 am opened the curtain and there is the sunrise view of Mt Fuji, the view keep changing with the weather. Loved it! I arrived the main station at around 2 pm, bought 2 day bus pass for 1700 yen, locked the hand carry in the locker and started the tour on red line bus, the weather was great! I took the boat trip (red line bus stop 9 and last trip is 4 pm). I took great pictures . I went to the cable car after, the line was acceptable, buy ticket half way up whilst keep queuing. The timing was perfect as I can get both day view and the sunset view. The swing queue was too long so I skipped it. After sunset the place gets much cooler I went back to the main station had dinner at the tempura restaurant, grab a few essentials from Lawson then take the taxi in front of the main station to the hotel , 5 minutes cost 900 yen. The photos are taken from my room)

The hotel is very conveniently located near quite a few restaurants, as well as Book Off!, which is a great place to find some secondhand vintage consoles and luxury handbags (although the prices aren't very competitive). There is ample parking even though it looks like there are only a few spaces in the front. The hotel is made up of two buildings and the rest of the car park spaces are around the corner behind the main building. The breakfast is lovely and relatively inexpensive at 1300 yen for all you can eat. We had a rental car so I cannot comment on convenience to public transport. There is also an open air terrace on each floor where you can take some pictures of Mt Fuji, although you can take pictures of Mt Fuji from virtually anywhere in this town. :)

Great layout of the room and awesome view. The bath in the room was also great and we loved that you could sit in the bath and just stare at Mt Fuji The room was large and the beds comfortable. Definitely the highlight of our trip. The hotel staff were able to promptly organise a taxi when it was raining and were very helpful and have English speaking staff. There is massage chairs and foot massage machines available to guests, as well as a public bath. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Choice Kitchen, has a buffet dinner for about 1400 yen (if I remember correct) which was great for the price. The hotel is walking distance 20-30 minutes from kawaguchiko station which was good and there are shops and restaurants close by.

It’s is one of the biggest room we stay during our Japan trip. In the picture the hotel looked bit out of date , however in real it was much nicer ! Though it’s just a 2 start hotel , it can reach the same level as some of the 4 star hotel! we love it so much. The location was nice as well, many restaurants around. It will take some distance to see the prefect view of Fuji, however as a traveler without private car, we thought it was a prefect location to stay .

The room was spacious, the view was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes; the little luxury items that made a difference. We stayed a few days to look around Mt Fuji with a hired car, so I can’t comment on location in terms of public transport. There is a shopping mall nearby, it’s handy to buy a few things. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. The coffee shop next to the carpark has great coffee.
